I am a die hard resident evil fan. I've played each and every single game and am extremely educated on the lore. What is this? You can't put zombies and umbrella in a show and slap "Resident Evil" on it. Resident evil isn't just the zombies in the show. It's likeable characters Like Leon, Chris, Ada. Even some of the lesser known ones like Sheva or Sherry make the games so much fun to play. Horrible writing, Horrible characters, Horrible antagonists, Horrible plot. Watch Infinite darkness if you want a resident evil show. Or for all that is holy, Just play the games if you don't want to bleach your eyes.
