War of the worlds has always been absolutely terrifying until this movie. So many missed opportunities for them to develop this story to invoke the feeling of total dominance impending doom. Instead you are left with a completely unbelievable plot of a NHS family that can instantly hack anything and save the world. Very disappointing.

it's not unwatchable but it's just not good.

I really tried to enjoy this series for what it is despite the total misinterpretation of Master Chief. The first season was entertaining but the direction that the second season is going is just unwatchable. Master Chief and silver team just completely forgoing their armor and the emotional development of the characters is just too divergent from the source, I'm out.
