Love this film. The moral of it , the casting, storyline, acting, locations, everything. Masterpiece.

'Fantastically dreadful' just like the Guardian review said. (I just looked out of curiosity.) And I only heard 30 mins of ep4 on the tv while working on an electronic project in another room. Glad i didn't waste my time with episode 1. 🙄

Very disappointing. The whole idea of a psychotic surgeon, with an even more psycho wife was a bit hard to swallow for a start. And some scenes just ridiculous. If someone came to your house to pick up a second hand fridge and brought a suitcase to take it away would you let them in, or maybe think, nutter? James kills someone in daylight, London street, and hangs him from a Thames bridge. Really? Ep 4 continuity was non existent. One minute Luther and companion go into a house and it's dark. 5 mins later they leave and it's bright daylight. Not long later he sites a runner, runs into a building site and it's dark again. But When the police catch up with him 10 mins later it's light again.And as for the ridiculous scene where armed police are raiding the gangsters house and at the same time Alice is machine gunning him from the back of the house. One. How did she miss? And then the police burst in as she's firing, don't go after her and I couldn't see any damage on the room. Absolutely pathetic. Who writes this stuff.
