The following is my opinion: This is based on the classic Foundation novels in "name only" The Novel, Major character and Location names exist. But much of the storyline added to the series feels like poor fan fiction. It is almost as if Asimov's Estate said "Sure, do whatever you want, so long as the check doesn't bounce"
