Watching this is driving me dilly! The script: Melodramatic twaddle. And the photography where everything is done in annoying closeup with a photography studio stolidness -- must be borrowed from the TV soaps where the producer is covering up for the lack of $$$$ spent on sets etc.
Oh and did I mention the young models with perfect hairdos, and airbrushed complexions, A GQ naif hero etc. How phony! (Sean Bean was the only reason I stuck around -- a semblance of visual realism)
'nuf said. Aaaargh!
(What is most disappointingly surprising is that this production bears a BBC imprimatur...! Can you imagine: the very company that brought us the ever exceptional, jaw dropping "The World at War" Standards are "going down the tubes" indeed.
