Just watched episode one. Too much time skips. At the end it just felt like they realised they hadn’t shown the bit where the disease was released and Campion tried to get his family away, so they just thought they’d better chuck it in at the end ( when it’s really how the whole story began). Not terrible, but to understand what’s going on you need to watch the original miniseries.
