I’ve read the 1 star reviews, though I haven’t seen the dark series, 1899, kept me on the edge of my seat, guessing what would happen next and still I was so wrong with everything I thought was going to happen. It’s so out of this world and beyond our time. You can tell there was so much thought and depth put into the 1899 series. The different languages although the characters can’t understand what the next is saying, it takes a great actor to bring the understanding and emotion to not only a scene but throughout an entire series. All of them did so well, and made you detect the sentimental aspect of every scene. The production alone was so crazy having all those languages under one roof and the idea of the virtual world. I would love to pick a part the mind of the writer and ask where the idea even came from. Still after finishing the first season, I have so many questions. And that’s what kept me intrigued through the entire show. You don’t really know who is good and who is bad or whose idea was what. I love the flashbacks at the beginning of every episode where it sorta broke down the history of the characters. It gave a look into their past and their traumas and why they might be on the Prometheus in the first place. The end doesn’t really answer those questions which leads me to believe the second season (hopefully there is one) will be a little more in depth as to why some died and some survived. All I can say is “WOW”. You try to explain the series to anyone and the only thing you can say is “you just have to watch it”. In conclusion I hope to see a season 2 because the cast, producers and directors have really outdone yourselves. Great job
