With a decent plot, strong characters, and a story that carries you along, The Creator is a theatrical examination of the role of AI in the human future. It pits a dominant Western Culture, the Americans, against an assortment of pro-AI Asian nations, the New Asia. Directed by Star Wars Rogue One director Gareth Edwards, it takes a sympathetic view that will leave some viewers happy, and some in consternation.
