I watched Sheridan Smith and that rictus duck pout with a constant look of disbelief - beyond terrible.

Wasn't keen at first, Marcella was dressed like a schoolchild throughout series 1 and it was off-putting. Stuck with it and am nearly finished series 2 (she's dressed like an adult now!) and addicted ..

As these things go, I thought it was really good!

The aliens are the same or extremely similar to the Stranger Things ones - running, leaping big teeth flower heads. Rubbish audio, seemingly like so many films these days. Some of the dialogue was just unclear. I replayed some of what Emily Blunt was saying at one point and neither me nor my companion could make it out! One English and one Irish actor, pretending to be American. What's with that these days?! I personally find it really distracting. Stupid ending - take it that's a signal for '3'. Overall I wouldn't recommend this film.
