Ola California

This movie was very cute. I know Noah Centineo from the Fosters but it was nice to see him take on this role for the big-screen. It was really funny, sweet, and just heart-warming.

Okay I love both the book and the movie for different reasons. The book first came out when I was in grade school so everyone was reading it at the time, I even remember the school library never had it in stock. I found the book both hilarious and relatable because the subplots of the story involving their families always had me rolling, and second, we all have that version of Bryce Loski in our lives. Between the two, his dialogue was much funnier. When the movie came out, I was in high school and to be honest, I was a little disappointed to see Bryce without black hair and blue eyes like most readers imagined, but it was okay. I loved the 1950's change they made and it was still a good watch. I still have my copy of Flipped in my college dorm <3

Okay so I think this is the best Spiderman movie so far to be 100% honest. The first time I ever heard of Spiderman was when I watched Spiderman with Tobey Maguire with my cousins when I was a kid like most people in my generation. At the time it was new and just released on VHS and it became my favorite marvel character. I didn't even read the comics either. But then I saw this one last summer in theaters and LOVED it. It was like Spiderman + a random adventure in a foreign country. Tom Holland is a great actor and who doesn't love Zendaya? It was nice to see MJ played by someone different besides the actresses in previous films and the comic books. The characters, cinematography, and even music were just perfect. The money to make this film was well spent. It was also really funny! There were times I laughed out loud during a couple of scenes but this was a good watch and now one of my favorite movies. Homecoming was good but this is even better! Go watch! xx :D
