Excellent acting by the principal women in what is a boring film. The storyline is set against the background of the war with France with the political parties of the day deliberating over how to prosecute the events. But there is no “meat” on the bones of this film. There is some sporadic humour and numerous vulgar sexual scenes. There is also some poetic licence that the producers use in an effort to enhance the film. Facts mixed with lots of inaccuracies! Don’t waste your money.
