If you put this down and decide to not finish it, don’t go back and force yourself to get to the end like I did - you’re not missing anything! It doesn’t get better! Long, drawn out descriptions and lots of superfluous details that did not add to the plot line. The only theme I grasped was dysfunctional family dynamics. It was dissatisfying all the way to the very end!
