Wow! Just Wow! The opening two episodes were better than I thought. Great characters, awesome action, a little nostalgia and a great pickup of Star Wars Rebels. Only two things fell a little short for me: 1) Not sure why Sabine needs to be a Padawan. Her interactions with Ahsoka in Rebels were minimal and even when training with the Dark Saber, she failed to use it as a Jedi and only did well when using Mandalorian techniques. We have never seen Sabine be force sensitive before so maybe some backstory would be good - probably coming. 2) Hera’s chemistry with her fellow characters kinda fell flat until she interacted with Chopper. It just did not feel like Hera — but maybe only a Rebels fan would notice that.
