Entertaining and funny in places but very much a movie for those the same age as the protagonists. There's one brilliant scene where the lead characters believe they are dolls after taking hallucinagenic drugs but the film then lets itself down by having them return to their normal state within a matter of minutes when they should be howling at the moon until the end of the night.
As a comedy, you're willing to let this slide, likewise a scene where a serial killer dishes out tips on their personal safety. My overwhelming feeling is this film is trying to be too cool and knowing for its own sake but that's maybe because I'm a grumpy middle aged man.
