As a Die hard Halo fan it’s definitely awkward at a lot of times, the show feels more catered to my parents my mom loves it. What makes Halo “Halo” was often the characters there’s a lot of memorable beloved characters in the game but the show is full of unlikeable characters for plot, all the key points of the main story are just blatantly changed like “reach city” instead of new Alexandria, putting atriox at the start of the story when he’s a new character to the franchise, or subbing out the most loved character in the series’ role The Arbiter for a “Human Covenant Girl” At some points it just feels like it’s trying to be like Disney Star Wars and just take Away All the loved pieces of the franchise for the “Broader Audience” The action scenes can be good but there’s maybe like 2 or 3 memorable ones, mostly just get naked master Chief, never wearing his helmet in battle, sex scenes while Cortana watches, race swapping all the known characters, master chief dying, and who could forget Kwan ha and the Chevy Tahoe. I love the action scenes and the prop work tho lol
