It was alright but compared to the first movie (The Suicide Squad 2016) this one was more on the comedic- cartoonish side. I loved the first suicide squad, so much passion and all of the backstories had an impact. The plot, effects, and character development was amazing!! I watched it over 5 times lol. I could go on and on! Unfortunately, This movie felt like it was really rushed and just thrown together. The squad wasn’t really a “squad.” They didn’t bond over time like the first one did and most of them got killed off so abruptly. I think that the villains and some of the characters in the squad were kind of corny. like an alien starfish named staroo?? It was very action packed and full of comedic scenes, like a Kevin hart and Dwayne Johnson movie but It just didn’t give me that feeling that the first one did. This suicide squad really just felt rushed and all over the place. The plot was hard to keep up with too.
