Bright Eyes

I don't even like going to theatres anymore, but as a fan of the original 1985 film with Oprah and Whoopie...I had to be one of the first to see this new one. I truly enjoyed this musical adaption of the original film...it made me laugh, cry and want to dance and shout as well. It was different, yet the same. All characters were convincing in their roles, so I'm looking forward to buying and watching this 2023 version over and over again. Will I recommend the soundtrack as well? Hell Yes!! This movie/musical was well worth it to me...the cameo from Whoopie was delightful to my heart. The only thing that was missing for me personally was a cameo from lady O herself...nonetheless a true joy to watch. Holiday cheers and blessings to the entire cast and crew for makimg my Christmas day (2023) even more merry and bright...you are all amazing! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽😇😇😇
