Now that I have seen the movie, I am editing my opinion from thinking it "looked great" to telling you I found it very very good! Perhaps not great, but still worth EVERY penny you would spend on a rental or even a movie ticket. As with all the cataclysm movies the director has to strike a fine line between making the movie harrowing yet not making Murphy's law puke all over the screen for 2 hours. For the most part, this was accomplished. The CG effects were as realistic as hell, the science of the movie was pretty good (which rarely happens in disaster movies). If you want to see this, I promise you, you are not wasting your money. It won't be the best money you EVER spent but....
