Kiandra Stewart (Kizzlemyshizzle)

I reluctantly purchased a ticket as it was the only movie screening while I was getting my car serviced. Well, it ended up being one of the $15 I’ve spent on a movie in quite a while. The acting was superb, I love the way Sebastian Stan gradually morphed into using Trump’s one-liners and idiosyncrasies. He wasn’t doing some over the top impersonation. Jeremy Strong as Roy Cohn was fabulous. He must have lost quite a bit of weight for this role, which does not surprise me as he takes his method acting very seriously. I ended up watching the Cohn documentary “Bully, Coward, Victim” that night. Such a fascinating, yet polarising man. And finally Maria Bakalova as Ivana was perfect casting. I have a new kind of respect for Ivana after her portrayal. I really felt like I was time warped back to the 80’s with the authentic sets and costume. Stan and Strong’s characters did not go overboard with make up and prosthetics. It was not needed as their acting via facial expressions and voice tone was enough BUT I think it would’ve been effective if they had both had blue contact lenses or use of CGI. Both Donald and especially Roy have/had such icy blue eyes. Great movie ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Probably one of the best shows I’ve ever seen, and I’ve watched A LOT. Such a fabulous cast with the quirkiest characters; whether it’s Billy, singing a song totally out of context, or Luke dancing like a maniac or tripping out, Autumn’s little “yee haw” and beautiful Southern drawl (by an English actor Imogen Poots), it makes you want to keep rewinding to rewatch these kooky scenes. I think my favourite is the sexy Candy Stripers scene, when Billy gets home from hospital, with Luke tripping again. 🤣 Then the empathy you feel for Cecilia and the beautiful chemistry between Rhett and Maria makes you feel like you’re really watching a private moment between real lovers. As for Royal (Josh Brolin), his acting prowess is so effortless, a master just like his dad. The show keeps you guessing; so many twists and underlying secrets, that suddenly expose themselves with a bang. I just can’t fault this show and I’ve never been a fan of Westerns. The whole time travel part gives me Outlander vibes. Do yourself a favour and start watching. It’s a slow burn to start but belt up an enjoy the ride. Yee Haw!
