I think that all the events in the book link together very well. Despite the overall positive message, there were a few depressing moments and unclear episodes. I felt the ending left a lot of questions, but the relationship between Sunya and Jamie was very sweet (despite almost being ruined by the Dad's islamophobia). I would recommend this book to other readers, particularly 12-16 year olds as they are old enough to fully understand and appreciate the difficult themes. - Ellen
