I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan and loved this movie as well as the following! Well produced and I could easily watch any day of the year.

Poor animations (not immersive), only being saved by the fact the film is based off of Tolkien's brilliant work. As I am an avid J.R.R. Tolkien fan it is hard to dislike any Middle-Earth oriented films, but this trilogy doesn't do Tolkien's legacy any justice to be completely fair. I thought this movie had great content, but the animations seemed to be much worse than the Lord of the Rings trilogy films. Not sure why the animations seemed to be worse than that of the Lord of the Rings series, but I could definitely spot the difference. At the end of the day, any film that is produced upon Tolkien's work would be fine by me.

As I said for my previous two reviews on the Hobbit trilogy, it appeared the producers spent little money on their animated figures throughout the trilogy. I loved the content as I love anything that has to do with the Middle-Earth, but I lost immersion due to the fact of the poor animations that appeared cartoonish (which isn't a word, but a perfect "word" to describe them).

Huge fan of the Middle-Earth universe, but I thought the Hobbit trilogy could have used work with their animations as they seemed less immersive than the Lord of the Rings trilogy films.

Such a great movie! The Helms Deep battle will give you the chills, it was so nicely produced.
