NOT A FULL REMAKE For a game that's been hyped for four years, this was a let down. The developers had time. They obviously had the funds. What did we get? A game that appropriated its style, graphics, game play, and design from every other popular JRPG. Instead of coming up with a unique combat system, we get the leftovers of FFXV, Kingdom Hearts, and Monster Hunter. The graphics and story; stretched out and dramatized like that game, what was it....oh yeah, YAKUZA! A sad statement, particularly as FFVII was a game that canonized, if not created, many staples of the RPG genre. It went from being an innovator to a stale copy cat. Oh, and its NOT A FULL REMAKE! SPOILER! IT ENDS IN MIDGAR! YOU KNOW, 1/3 OF THE ORIGINAL GAME.
