As a former pentecostal Christian I remember being 15 or 16 and praying and "believing with all my heart" that my lost voice would return. Well whaddaya know, it didn't. But apparently according to this author, it will! I don't think you could have found a more believing and devoted person than I was. Maybe this book works for people who have never been devoted Christians, but I was one, and while the theory is lovely, it doesn't actually work. I couldn't get any further then chapter 6, but no doubt somewhere in there he throws in "and if you want doesn't happen it wasn't meant to be" (a popular Christian sentiment) But apparently this book wasn't for women anyway. There are a lot of sentences like "and if a person........he...." "every man......" etc
