Hammy!!! A huge DC tent pole movie’s main aspect is a magic wishing rock That grants a major villain(S)his powers, and threatens to destroy the world. It’s pretty lame... patty Jenkins?!?! What the hell?! I don’t honestly think after this poor effort you deserve to have the reins to Star Wars rogue squadron. Wonder Woman as a franchise might be ruined ( after you began her ) because of this movie. The absolute cheese factor of the shopping mall fight- terrible high school level acting by both extras and cringe worthy robbers bad guys....?? Can’t you see this as the director. I was actually embarrassed watching this at points - akin to when a stand up comedian who’s your best friend is bombing so bad you want to support them but your anxiety levels are causing you to blush. This is how I felt on Christmas Day watching especially campy parts of the movie. Pedro, Gal, Kristen and especislly Chris pine gave it there all.... and were fine in their roles. Pedro really went over the top in areas but he sold it as desperation aspects and motivation by his Character, and his scenes with his son plus his believability around his self loathing loser beliefs created some empathy and redeemed the movie somewhat from ridiculous villain aspect. Man were the 80’s really this terrible ?! Please give the franchise to someone like Cathy Yan ( harley Quinn ) or the Deadpool people if you want to go for over the top tongue in cheek action, Or have silly and fun mixed in with action set pieces As this all seems forced, cliche and a bit batman the tv show high camp. Her lasso grabs hold of a launched rocket to propel her forward to save the day?! Damn?! I think the writers are also a bit t blame too. Send them over to Nickalodeon, or the current Star Trek writing pool or some other place Of shame. Sorry as I am really just upset with the choices made in regards to this production.😞😭 .......😭I ... AM really upset with this movie. Wonder Woman is a prized superhero franchise and I am one of the few DC defenders that claims DC can possibly someday dethrone Marvel.... but not after yesterday:/

Amazing! Simply AMAZING. Give Daphne an Oscar, Emmy and everything in between. I have never read the books and only knew the movie golden compass... and all I remembered of that show was a polar bear knocking another polar bears jaw off. This series of books had so much more, and is one of the most original story concepts ever created. It’s thoughtful, mysterious, fantastical and gives smart empowered children centre stage to save the adults from themselves and their indoctrinated ways of being.
