So I am a huge fan of this series. I’ve even watched the earlier films from the 60s/70s when it originated. The one thing that really bothered me about Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was they killed Ceaser but didn’t keep his legacy alive. “Many generations later” no one knew who he was except one ape who eventually drowned and died. They could have made Noah Caesars great great grandson. They could have made the Ape who helped Noah but drowned, Maurice’s great great grand. And what was the thing about the birds? I get how it tied in at the end because they came to save Noah and his tribe, but this movie was a huge disappointment! For the length of time this movie was it was just a bunch of weird and confusing things that did not make any sense or even feel like a Planet of The Apes movie.
