As the series unfolds, the psychopathology of Ripley evolves. It shows the lengths he goes to in order to retain his newfound wealth and lifestyle. His lack of emotion while commiting awful crimes is chilling and its interesting that upon meeting him, many of the other characters in the series seem to have an instinctive mistrust of him. Only half way through so can't wait to see how it ends!
