Brilliant acting and photography, and engaging for the first 90% of the film. The finale lands somewhat flat. Regardless, Ingrid Bergman is both alluring and commanding on the screen.... way ahead of her time in her naturalistic acting style. To the 1940s audience, I imagine she must have seemed almost radical.
