But this books shows it is bad enough while letting the banks and insurers off the hook from being investigated further. Adele did a good job shining a light on what is very disturbing where the customer is just a mouse to be abused and subjected to predatory practices in pursuit of profit at all costs. That is the reality of allowing banks and insurers to have to in law focus on shareholder interests and not customers while the industry is self-regulated and the regulators aligned with keeping banks and insurers happy as the regulators rely on these operators to feed them with reports and self-assessments.
