It has to be the worst horror I've seen in ages. The disconnection between the family is shockingly bad, they're hardly upset when their family members are hurt.
The story was your standard possession script, throw in the book of the dead and listen to a few of the recordings, to align it with the original ED and that's all it has in connection. I didn't feel uneasy once, with sadly no jump scares of relevance.
I'm not bothered it was virtually an all women cast, that's the thing lately, to slate men and promoted the whole girl power thing, but why use a transgender kid? Oh because that's Hollywood's new thing too. So, all boxes ticked haha.
Shame it was a poor film as it had so much potential.
