This game feels so old. The characters do not feel Alive, they don't feel like they live in this universe, they just stand around and raise their eyebrows with every other word that they speak. Dialogue is genuinely the part that makes the game feel so dated, I look at cyberpunk and all the movements and actions that the NPCs make as they move around the world, and they feel real and Alive and interacting with them makes me feel more immersed into the game. Where as starfield feels like it was made 10-15 years ago, the characters have no interactions with the world around them, and talking to them is just such a huge reminder that I'm playing a video game. I genuinely do not understand this whole eyebrow thing. It's like everyone speaks with their eyebrows and not their lips, genuinely every other word spoken is accompanied with eyebrow movements in the clunkiest ways. Not to mention the fact that the game consists of about 30-40% of play time being loading screens, and another 50% being walking around empty fields. Exploration only feels like exploration when there are things to discover. Skyrim was awesome because I wanted to walk around the world and see what id stumble across. This game, while having 1000 planets, is completely void of that wonder. There is no point in having hundreds of planets if all you can explore are tiny little areas that are void of anything to interact with aside from the occasional monster to kill. I genuinely tried to give this game a chance, I did enjoy the first 5 hours of so, but that's mostly because the game starts predominantly in major cities and I was able to drink it all in. That enjoyment fades more and more as you play because the more you explore, the more you realize there's nothing to actually discover. I also don't understand Bethesda's insistence on telling negative reviewers that they're just wrong, we are the people who love your games, and feedback from those people should be tools, not points of discussion used to tell them they're wrong. This makes me worry about ES6. If the characters are going to look this dated and seem so un-alive then the game will be completely absent of the wonders that Skyrim has in its time. Look at any random character in cyberpunk, and then look at the main companions in starfield. There is no denying the difference in quality.
