Don’t see this unless you speak German and French as well as English. Because the filmmaker didn’t think English subtitles were necessary for more than a third of the picture. At least that’s what we were told at the theater after we walked out about 20 minutes into it. So, there was only translation every several minutes while characters stood and talked to each other. It’s not like it was an action film, where actions would have explained certain things. It was a simple domestic comedy. It was very annoying to lose a lot of details, and I don’t think the style of this director has much of a future in the US.
