Crap. Nothing interesting. Some how you escape the explosion and now have to fight hybrid enemies. Typical stuff.

Definitely the worst of the series. A true fan would know. The weapon crafting ruins the game along with the shoddy game play mechanics. Playing on survival mode enemies absorb more shots at close range than far away which makes no sense. The new enemies are more of a nuisance than a challenge. How many times will an enemy split into another? Sheesh. The story is interesting but lazily written with bloated elements/areas and corny dialogue a certain points (See Robert and Carver). In order to complete the game in its entirety I have to play co-op missions. I am replaying this game in 2021 on my old PS3. Guess I can forget about that. The auto save is fundamentally flawed. In previous games you would be able to save your exact game. In DS3 the checkpoint saves are annoying if you wish to change your approach to advanced to the next area. The optional missions are pointless in anything above classic mode. You will get rushed and the reward (if you make it to the stash) will not be worth the ammo and health packs you just spent. Stasis has been weakened for no good reason, even after being fully upgraded it barely has any duration. The weapon crafting it ridiculous. It wasn’t broken why did they need to change it? DS2 is by far the best entry in the series, with its Zealot and hard core modes being a true challenge to be proud of but they expect you to play hardcore mode on DS3 straight for 15+ hours? Glad there’s an exploit because that’s one trophy I would never be able to get. If DS3 would have keep to the same formula as previous entries this game could have easily surpassed its predecessors in quality. Trading horror for action just made this game another wannabe FPS and at the time of this games’ release COD was all ready in full swing.

Awesome game. This takes Dead Space to the next level. Titan Station Elementary.. wow.

I think the last great Metroid games were Prime and Fusion. They brought something new and exciting to the table, Dread does not. It’s more Of a S.S.D.D./cash grab Type of game. Same tropes from early installments. I’m two thirds of the way through the game and I’m already bored of it. I don’t have any feeling of ‘dread’ like I did playing Fusion (see “how Metroid fusion creates fear” Video game Animation Study). There is no feeling of replay value what’s so ever. Unlike Fusion, Prime and hell even Super Metroid I have no desire to come back to this game and I will be selling this game off when I’m done. Don’t buy it new get it used and sell it back. It’s not worth the money new.

Trash, nothing new S.S.D.D. Matter of fact, the franchise has gotten worse. In story mode you can see Adler setting you up a mile away and the ending? So predictable. The weak minded will say that this is the best MW they have ever played etc. unfortunately. Gone are the days of a fun multiplayer, where one didn’t have to worry about 6000 weapon upgrades or opponents sliding up a flight of stairs. Really? And then there is the huge download to even play the damn game. Guess Activision doesn’t want me playing other games? Nice try. Last MW game I will ever purchase. This game marks the end of an era for me on a bad note.

Multiplayer: samething, nothing new or innovative. Horrible maps; "camper's" paradise. Weapons have too many useless options but on the other hand aren't true to realisim as they are going for or one would hope. Can you say oxymoron? Wounding someone with a .50 CAL? And they can still move around? Seriously? And ofcourse there are the bugs. I dont get how these folks are ok with putting out unfinished products. Campaign mode: lackluster. Story not as enthrawling as previous MW games. Are Arab people the only focus of the military? Howabout a campain against drug dealers or something else I've must have uplo?aded more updates to this game since it release in 3 months than any other MW game. When are these fools gonna get it right? Its all about micro transactions nowadays. I miss SOCOM.

Beautiful effects and images of how it would look to be on one of Jupiter’s moons but the story is vague.
