Even though this was a remake (didn't see the original), I thought it was refreshing and original in terms of the reality of a long term relationship and the emotions each person can go through. I thought the acting was excellent and was a good balance of real emotion and humor which was impressive given that the main actors are mostly known for their dramatic skills. Adding Kate and Andy to the mix was great to contrast the obvious comedy to the movie. I thought that the couple still loved each other throughout the movie but couldn't really tell till the end which made it unpredictable and real. Loved the gorgeous scenery, food, and house.
