I’m a Blake lively fan, but this movie just didn’t do it for me. There’s no passion between Ryle & Lily like there is in the book. I feel like the actors that were in the flashbacks did better. I read the book before watching the movie, which I think ruined it for me. There’s a lot of little important things from the book that they just skipped over in the movie. I think they should’ve picked Rachel McAdams to play Lily. I’m not even sure I know the actor who plays Ryle, but I just feel like all his emotions were boring and not believable. Whoever played Atlas wasn’t too bad. I could actually feel his concern and love for Lily. I couldn’t bond with the actors in the movie like I could while reading the book. Im sad to say this movie isn’t even worth one full star.
