Can be pretty boring at times, the case wall is a snooze fest and more of an annoyance than anything progressive. You can miss the shotgun completely and if youre playing on x box and you meet mulligan and thorburn with anything less than full health, loads of batteries, and loads of ammo and you havent save manually recently, be prepared to go back hours, the fights far too hard, your characters too slow and you get caught in a reload killing. Binned it right there.

At last a game not full of cardboard American accents, nobody does swearing better than us Scots

I was really looking forward to this game, but movement is glitchy, load times are long, the colour pallete and environment is garish, all of which would just be a niggle, however its BORING utterly BORING the dialoge is inane, mostly tripe, monotone and theres just far far too much of it. I'll put a caveat in here, if you think the office or jack dee boring sitcoms are funny or even the film lost in translation then im sure youll be in hysterics but the humour here is dry and repetitive almost like a brummy attempting a remake of hitchhikers guide. Skipping dialogue is rather glitchy (XBOX One), the main characters weapom seems to be up by his ear and just doesnt seem well placed, there is no way to park your weapon say for walking around a village. Walls seem paper thin, enemys easily lost in the background textures, enemies seem to be able to hit you through some boxes and other cover, respawns often face you toward an exit requiring 2 more long loadups to get you back to where you were if accidentally activated, the writing is cluttered and small and not very clear against the background colour of menus , the tutorial is terrible, theres little information as to what the hell figures and stats mean. Combat starts terrible but luckily improves (apart from the hit through cover)..... But again the boring slog through the tripe dialogue was the deathnell for me, its just not very interesting and the humour wanes quickly. If the pointles chatter was halved and the actors actually had some charisma about them i might return but at the moment it just feels cheap, try before you buy. Theres a lot of talk about a direct comparison to fallout vegas, ive never played this particular installment in the fallout series, dont think i will now. Overall, largely mediocre, there is a good game dynamic in there but the dialogue kills the momentum

XBox series X review. Plenty of paid for influencer reviews here but.... I cant review higher than 3 stars because in the state its in, its broken. However when it does play (10 mins to 40 mins per game crash... unreal engine yet again) then its really good fun, couple niggles... the maps useless, the cameras too close, and youll only ever use a machine gun but its lovely to look at and explore. There is a great game hiding here but.... crash after crash, mission critical enemys not spawning, hard locks requiring quitting, the list goes on..... i suspect use of the unreal engine is the culprit and needs addressed by microsoft cos theres similar issues accross the board...... Play on game pass, do not purchase. Ive parked the game for now as its unplayable but will definately return to start again if theres a significant patch

After an hour the sandman will get you, typical boring netfix tripe with the only redeeming factor being a refreshing lack of whining american accents.

Im glad its over, it wasnt truly dreadful but... Was there a second episode, cant remember? I liken this to patrick stewarts adaptation of a christmas carol... Take a great book and fart out its entrails.

Got bad reviews, glad I never trust them.The oscars is proof the critics continually cant tell their a from their e. I found it to be a rather good film, well acted, perhaps lacking in story but its one of those films that you just want to see what happens next. Quite enjoyed it.
