I'm aware that this show is not supposed to be like the original gossip girl so I'll leave the 2007 version out of it (even though it is an amazing show). The 2021 reboot is probably one of the most cringe, undeveloped fairly popular shows I've seen in some time. I'm fine with the exaggerated and honestly provocative nature of the show- that's not the problem; Euphoria pulled this off very well. There is hardly a plot that you can hold on to and the character development is just dismal. There doesn't seem to be any real chemistry between the characters and the diversity on the show seems to be a facade to target a specific crowd. The constance professor characters are annoying and not relatable. I would hardly give this show even one star. It's honestly unbearable to watch. Good TV shows are timeless and can be watched again and again but you could not pay me any amount of money to rewatch this TV series.
