Gimpy Granny

This movie brings tears from anyone who loves horses the way I do. The bond that comes between a horse and their owner is incredible. Our hatred for War of any kind is felt in this movie, not just due to the horrific scenes of men dying but through the treatment of the animals they used. We sit in our chairs watching the countless ways Joey the horse lets humans know exactly how special he really is, we pray for him, encourage him as he runs, mourn with him as he loses his best friend, powerless to help, held in a grip of sadness over the loyalty he shows. I know I would give anything to have such a horse. I have a mini stallion who's name is ShotGunn, he is MY soul mate yet I know he would go with anyone who held a carrot or apple out for him!!
