An interestingly different romantic comedy dance musical with a fun storyline. A joyful very creative celebration with lots of colour, quality set design and imaginative assemblies of everyday sounds to produce a lively beat a typically Brazilian hip hop jazz.

Light hearted nice music predictable film with Jennifer Lopez playing a rags to riches beautiful unpretentious woman from the projects striking a romantic relationship with Ralph Fiennes in a very uncharacteristic romantic role as a successful wealthy politician.

A well scripted simple storyline about a young woman whose only connection to family is an ex convict father who she tries to impress by taking up his old sport of wrestling. The twist is that it is in a high school all boys team and she earns the respect of her team mates and changes as a person as a result. Some strong authentic performances from a promising impressive cast of actors with more complex three dimensional characters which are not portrayed as good and bad but people all just trying to get alone in a tough brutal world. This is less of a sports movie and more about a person finding herself and building relationships with others.
