A moving feel-good movie that evokes all your emotions! Loved it

What a waste of time. DRAGGED ON and ON and ON. So slow, so melodramatic. Maybe could have been a 2 night 2-hour miniseries, not 8 hours!!! And those parents were so ridiculous. Not asking him exactly what happened and getting the details. Telling him not to do anything online not 1x not 2x but 3x yet he continues to stupidly do it. They don’t take away his access to online?! Granted he is 14 but he is old enough to understand what is happening to him but they treat him like a child. All the lies all the secrets were so ridiculous- what a contrived mess. The relationship between the husband and wife was a mess. How dare the husband make all the decisions about what he tells his wife —she has every right to know and yet she was kept in the dark about so much. This was not a good marriage, or a healthy family. Why can’t they make a movie about real people that are intelligent - flawed is fine but not portrayed so poorly. This was never worth 8 hours.
