I just watched Ciao house. I didn't read reviews before I watched. However, I wasn't shocked to see how bad the reviews were. The setting was beautiful and I beleive the chefs were talented. However, the format of the competition allowed for the best chef's to be sent home leaving less successful chefs to move to the next step. The judges "picking" the capos each time resulted in one of the most talented chef to be capo 3 times - until his teammate caused him to get eliminated and one of the chefs in the final never had to be the capo for a team - she only had to manage one other chef at the semi-final. This was an unfair competition. It also allowed a chef who was given negative feedback every single competition to make it to the final four where she caused her team to lose and she was never tested at the role of capo. They tried to fix it by allowing one of the chefs a second chance at the end, but it was not enough to make this seem like a competition that intended for the best chefs to make it to the final. Dissappointing at best. If there is a second season, I will give it a shot but will not continue watching if they don't fix these problems.
