Absolutely terrible. I almost didn’t want to finish the first episode (the camera work during the initial dinner conversation gave me a headache and barely allowed me to analyze the characters)- but because I found the characters, the acting, and the dynamics so cringe, I had to keep going. It had to get better, right? No. No, it didn’t. It was difficult to look past the frumpy wardrobes, the plain faces, and the lack of chemistry- but I did. In return, I got a deep dose of 20-something whining, narcissism, and pointless storylines. Is this what life is truly like in college now? Look, I loved Normal People, but this plot was pure trash. The ending was even worse.
