The director turned this into a documentary about himself and his difficulty making the movie. The film became increasingly less and less about Johnathan and more about the insecurities of the director. Granted, the director had to deal with other documentary crews, but instead of doing it in a professional and mature manner, he tries to get everyone involved to feel sorry for him...to the point that he even questions the validity of Jonathan's health issues. He not only questions them in commentary, but confronts Johnathan directly. This is sickening. Even if his points about Jonathan's health have validity, you do not do that. There are two whole scenes involving the director's parents that have nothing to do with Johnathan! The lowest point of all of this is when the director contemplates doing meth to gain Jonathan's trust, gets legal advice that tells him not to do it, then DOES it anyway. Of course the next scene is the director throwing a pity party because he did it. It was pointless and did nothing to progress the story. This movie is childish trash and does Johnathan no justice at all.
