Very good movie. Deals with a highly sensitive topic in a mature manner. As with any history movie, some cinematic liberties have been taken to make it more commercial. But the approach has been rational with unearthing of historical evidences layer after layer. The movie blends the so- called 'mythology" with a scientific temper and touches upon so many aspects of religion, human sentiments, culture, faith, business expediencies etc. Production quality is top notch with some breathtaking shots of the Bay of Bengal and Ram Setu. Wondering why the movie flopped and why big media houses gave it a generous 2/5, 1/5 ratings. Clearly some organised effort to suppress India's grand history from being unearthed. But truth will finally come out, and I think we are seeing the beginning of that truth-sprouting process playing out before our eyes.

Absolutely random movie. Very simple messages of life delivered at the very end and audience had to endure arbitrary travel of protagonists through multiple universes. Of course a lot of effort has gone into making the movie and all the actors have done fine job, but the storyline is very flaky. Most of the humour is forced and peurile and many scenes are dragged beyond tolerance level. There is one scene where 2 rocks and a desolate terrain occupy screen time for a royal 2min 17 seconds - (yes I am patient to see it and even note the duration😊). I mean WTH is this, taking audience attention for granted.. Clearly shows that director and story writer want to say something profound but are at an extreme creative poverty to drive home their point. The visuals and VFX are of course slick- these things are now default. All in all an absolute waste of time-but then had to see it as it got 7 oscar awards. This brings me to even bigger concern. How can this movie get 7 awards. I can't understand. That either shows very low standards of other movies or the jury were very generous. More worryingly, this depicts the falling standards of viewers and how little we now expect from art forms.
