As a child of the 70s I'd hear Halston's name left and right, but I never really knew about his life and career. Ewan MacGregor is a triumph! He continues to challenge the fabric of what his profession of an actor details. He's a courageous chameleon, we never see Ewan MacGregor. We only see the spirit of the characters he drives to the surface. Bravo Ewan!

Gyllenhaal gives everything in this role. He truly conveys the teetering emotions between his career as an LAPD officer and father. The pressure builds and Jake serves this role with fearless commitment. Kudos Jake!
