I don’t take much to please for movies although I’m a cinephile I’m a cinephile for a reason therefore watch tons of movies and enjoy movies even the shitty ones and I also have a guilty pleasure of found footage but this movie was so horrible so cliche so jump scares stupid story that really didn’t even have a damn plot like very minimal not an ounce of story development and the characters I’d say stayed the same the entire film I even though the woman in the yard was decent ffs but this was legit trash idk maybe I’m also annoyed cuz I’m replaying until dawn rn and it is so horrible with no similarities to the game idk I just did not like it reminded me of a Covid movie or the trash movies they’d pump out during that span

Great movie this film is really great it’s exceptionally well made and I thoroughly enjoyed it as a film buff and cinephile it’s crazy this film got the mediocre reviews it got cuz don’t get any of them right in this case it’s a phenomenon very entertaining thought provoking and meticulously well crafted film. The pacing is great the story is great the narrative by Anthony Hopkins is goated the only reason and you’ll see why it didn’t do better was the fact people found a slasher horror movie too disturbing these people shouldn’t be watching slashers to begin with or horror movies of that matter I’m a horror fiend and have seen thousands of em it’s my fav genre and this was honestly so tame compared to most of them it’s not even close to a Serbian film first off there’s no rape whatsoever I mean sure there’s dead bodies kills with a wrench, marksman rifle, and a knife I mean exactly like a Bethesda fps game nothing more nothing less point I’d watch this film it’s one of my top 10 horror films of all time and coming from a horror connoisseur like me that means something ignore these reviews by radical sensitive snowflake Catholics who wouldn’t be able to handle even a classic and audience favorite like David finchers Se7en

Absolutely amazing a great take on the Native Americans and how brutally wronged they were before Christopher Colombus and the colonists with pedophilic raping, murdering, and slaughtering of the natives how the colonists in this film are led by a monster who sees the native docile highly intelligent creatures who’ve inhibited the land presumably for centuries as nothing more than vile pests I loved the design of these cute creatures as they resembles the real life microscopic organism known as water bears and also the story was amazing so entertaining and wow what a great performance by Robert Pattinson as Mickey he is definitely one of my favorite actors with his great films acted in such as: the Batman, good time, tenet, and high life to name a few also mark ruffallo and his wife were great (annie from hereditary) also glens actor from TWD was great all in all this movie answers questions about what it means to truly be human as well as mortal, how death can be scary but can give your life so much more beauty and joy knowing any moment can be your last, and lastly it provokes the thought of how people can stand up for themsleves and tyrant ruler situations all in all bong joon-ho has outdone himself again last time being parasite highly recommend this film
