This book is one of the few books I have read in my 69years that has had a profound impact on me.
Fortunately I read it before I had my daughter who never experienced the sides of a cot or had to sleep alone before she was ready. It makes so much sense - her description of how the continuum should be - from babe "in arms", to toddler and teenager and finally to adult. Continuum babies don't cry and don't experience unhappiness as children and adults. We in the west have lost our way.
