Siang Ee Eo

One of the best films I have watched in a long time. There is a lot of quiet but significant metaphors peppered throughout the film. The mother’s shoes and the Captain’s seeming betrayal at the end to protect the boy. Makes you laugh, cry and smile all at the small time. Director Waititi makes the mundane and everyday more significant and special than it all seem at first glance.
