A good show should grab your attention on the first episode and keep your interest. Prophecy doesn't do that. I was hoping the 2nd episode would be more interesting than the first but so far, both episodes have put me to sleep. I had to come back and watch them again. I'm bored with the show so far. I remember going to see Dune 2 and I was worried because I hadn't slept much the night before. I was sure I would sleep through most of the movie since I have a tendency to fall asleep in theaters. Not only did I not fall asleep, but I was completely stimulated throughout the entire movie. I'd hoped prophecy would have the same effect but it's quite the opposite. Hopefully it will come together as the season progresses. We shall see...

A movie is supposed to capture your attention and keep you interested. I was bored and confused the entire time. I'd hoped this movie would've explained a little more about the alien attack. I really feel like John Krasinski dropped the ball with the writing. Just awful story. And why did they kill off the only good actor in the movie(Alex Wole) in the first 15 minutes of the movie and replace him a little later with Eddy Munson from Strangers Things!? I'm honestly angry after watching it. Way to go Krasinski!
