Going through Owen's Dulce et Decorum est one can get the reality check of war's brutality and traumatic effect on soldier's life.Owen argued about the conventional thought of glorious war that has been portrayed through thousands of years; but Owen through his poem wanted to change the perspective of readers that war is not glorious as it seems rather it is traumatic meaningless and brutal in every aspect.
