Ruby Moon

It's okay. The main male lead is incredibly irritating and there is a surprising lack of chemistry between the two main characters despite the same actors having pretty good chemistry in pretty woman. Also the scene where they first get together is just so insanly unbelievable. There are some good parts of this film. I liked the friendship between Joan Cusack and Julia Roberts characters. And there is a charming cosiness to the small town setting of this film which was the only thing that kept me watching in the end. I don't doubt some people would enjoy this film, but I think there are definitely better romcoms out there with the same vibe that don't lack chemistry or have a pretty unbelievable storyline.
